The Delta Junction is a section consisting of a set of viaducts that allow the new high-speed trains (High Speed 2) to travel over existing motorways, roads and other railway lines. The pier head formwork shown in the image above belongs specifically to the Water Orton viaduct area, which runs over a distance of 700 metres of track.

Belonging to Lot N2 of Phase 2, the Water Orton viaducts will be 20 metres high at their highest point and supported by 32 piers.
Various structures have been fabricated for the HS2 project, ranging from capital formwork such as this and other to platforms or pier formwork.
