In the year 2016, we manufactured the tunnel formwork for the Xacbal hydroelectric power plant, located in the municipality of San Gaspar Chajul, in Guatemala. The objective of this work was to create a channel to conduct the Xacbal River to the hydroelectric power plant through a tunnel with a length of almost 5 km.

The client's requirements were a very demanding time frame for the manufacture of a 120 Tn formwork that also presented a very complex hydraulic system. The project also included the transport carrier for its mobility on the construction site. Caldibe's experience between types of projects is extensive and whatever the difficulty of the work, our team is used to working on large scale projects.
