Port of Caucedo: Intermodal transport

The port of Caucedo, inaugurated in 2003, is located in Punta Caucedo, 25km from the capital of the Dominican Republic. It is one of the main and most modern logistics centres in the Caribbean, destined for the reception of containers and international redistribution of goods. Operated by DP World, it has 600 linear metres and a berth depth of 13 metres..

With the mission of continuing to grow, in 2020 we were asked to manufacture a set of 8 platforms, for multimodal transport, each 4 levels high, as shown in the second image above. The development of this intermodal station involved a project of approx 232 Tn. manufactured in 3 months.
